Community Development
Together, we can achieve balanced growth that strengthens our community character and expands possibilities for everyone.
Affordable Housing Initiative: to create accessible housing options through developer incentives, and partnerships with non-profits to ensure every resident has a place to call home. Changing the tide on the housing crisis is one of our main goals for the future of Princeton.
Main Street Revitalization: to transform commercial districts with façade improvements, and regular events that support local businesses and create vibrant gathering spaces.
Business Accelerator Program: support local entrepreneurs in turning their innovative ideas into successful businesses; providing mentorship, resources, and strategic guidance to help business thrive right here in our community.
Community Centers: will serve as neighborhood hubs offering educational programs, recreational activities, and essential services that strengthen community bonds and improve residents' quality of life. -
Emergency Preparedness
Our city should always be proactive rather than reactive; it is our duty to ensure the health and safety of all our residence.
Flood Management: Proactive planning approach to flood management by implementing advanced drainage systems, creating neighborhood-specific mitigation plans, and establishing real-time monitoring networks to protect vulnerable areas before water levels rise.
Enhanced debris management system: will deploy pre-planned equipment and trained response teams, ensuring rapid restoration of critical infrastructure and preventing secondary hazards.
Community preparedness: by developing a digital alert system to quickly communicate emergency information and through regular training sessions for neighborhood emergency response teams.
This isn't just about emergency response—it's about creating a culture of preparedness that makes our city stronger, safer, and more resilient for generations to come. -
Community Engagement
There is Strength In Community. It is my belief that in order to serve our community we must include ALL our residence.
Inclusive decision-making: to ensure every resident has meaningful input in shaping our future; incorporating diverse perspectives into policy development through accessible town halls, digital participation platforms, and neighborhood-based advisory.
Collaborative problem-solving: bringing together multiple perspectives to tackle our most pressing challenges; leveraging our community's collective wisdom to develop sustainable solutions.
Increase community events and engagement opportunities: from seasonal festivals to regular community service days addressing local needs, from youth leadership programs to senior citizen advisory. These initiatives won't just strengthen our social fabric; they'll create the resilient community connections essential for effective emergency response during floods and other crises. By fostering these meaningful engagement pathways, we'll build a more connected, responsive city government that truly serves all residents.
